Informational Meetings - Our agency regularly conducts informational meetings throughout Connecticut to inform and educate people regarding adoption. These meetings are free of charge! We encourage you to attend and get to know us, as well as to learn more about adoption and to meet others who are thinking about adoption.

Adoption 101

Education - ARCCT believes strongly that an informed and educated adoptive family is a more empowered adoptive family. Our educational classes cover a wide variety of topics for families both pre and post placement. We do require that prospective adoptive parents attend educational classes that are pertinent to their adoption plan. Your social worker will work with you to determine which class or classes are appropriate for you to attend.

Waiting Parents Support Group - Our agency firmly belielves in the concept of peer support. ARCCT hosts ongoing, open-ended support groups for waiting families and families post-placement. There is no fee to attend support group meetings.

Living With A Spirited Child
5 Wednesday evenings April 28 - May 26, 2004. 6:30 - 8:00 pm
$43 per person/ $68 per couple.
Presented by Creative Parenting at the offices of ARC-CT. Includes the book Raising A Spirited Child. Pre-registration is required. Call ARC-CT at 860-657-2626 to register!

Summer Picnic

$7 per family (+$3 parking charge)
